Creating brave spaces for all bodies to practice radical self-love through embodied movement.


My name is Emily Martin and I started Any Body Yoga because I believe that yoga can truly be for ANY body.  I create yoga spaces that are body-positive, free from body-shaming, and inclusive for people in any type of body.

I received my 200-hr RYT through Grand Rapids Healing Yoga in 2018 along with a Trauma-Informed & Trauma-Sensitive Yoga Certification.  Additionally, I am a Yoga for All Certified Instructor, a training that specializes in teaching yoga to people of all shapes, sizes, ages, and abilities. My classes are a blend of hatha, vinyasa, and restorative yoga with a focus on mindfulness and embodiment with lots of options to help you find your own unique expression of the pose. 

My favorite things include swimming in Lake Michigan, big earrings, cast iron skillets, half moon pose, and SUP Yoga. I have lived in the Creston neighborhood for over 10 years and am a proud crazy cat lady.
